THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RIVER JORDAN (C Maujean) was slow into stride. b) TAMBORA (C Zackey) was slow losing one length. c) POWER RANGER (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Zackey reported that TAMBORA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) In view of the performances of DANCE LESSON (S Brown) (betting 9/2, distance 6,25 lengths) and BANHA BRIDGE (betting 4/1, distance 6,75 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. Trainer S J Gray was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of DANCE LESSON on return to stables. c) NORDIC REBEL (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
