THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VANTAGE POINT (M van Rensburg) was fractious in the stalls and reared as the start was effected losing three lengths. Trainer C Spies was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (LAS). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) VANTAGE POINT (M van Rensburg) was fractious and reared in the stalls. A race review was called into the start of this race where it was established that VANTAGE POINT in stall gate 5 had reared as the start was effected. After reviewing the patrol film of the start, the Board in consultation with the Starter, was of the opinion that this was because of this filly's own behaviour and established that she had suffered no impediment by the Starting Stall gates or the Handler, and therefore declared her to be a runner. b) POWER BROKER (M Khan), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
