THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CORNER CRUSADE (*R Venniker) was stubborn to load. Trainer G Rich was advised to re-school this filly. b) NKALANZINZI (A Marcus) was restless in the stalls. Trainer D Moore will be advised to re-school this filly. c) PERFECT APPEAL (D Dillon) was restless in the stalls. d) LADY MACBETH (A Mgudlwa) lost 2 lengths. e) BROADWAY CALLING (W Kennedy) lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 150m, VISION OF WILL (M Yeni) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the outside of CORNER CRUSADE (*R Venniker) which was hanging out from the 400m, proving difficult to assist. Trainer G Rich was advised that the racing manners of CORNER CRUSADE are unacceptable and that should this filly behave similarly in future, it may be suspended. b) CORNER CRUSADE (*R Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
