THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process NOMMO (N Klink) broke through the front gate, was restrained its Rider, returned to the start, checked by the Course Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. b) NAMIBSROOS (*D B Geerthsen), ANGEL'S WISH (M Khan) and SUPER HOT (*K A Brewer) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process, NOMMO (N Klink) became restless and broke through the front of the stalls. This resulted in SKY GLITTER (W Kennedy) pre-empting the start and rushing the front of the stalls. NOMMO was restrained by her rider and returned to the start. SKY GLITTER was removed from the stalls whereupon both horses were examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who passed them fit to race and reloaded. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to NOMMO, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 7 January 2022 to 13 January 2022. NOMMO may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer S W Kenny advised (BN). c) PETUNIA shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. d) LIL WAHOO (M Yeni) hung out from the 200m. e) SKY GLITTER (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) IN THE ETHER raced with a tongue tie on (declared 1 January 2022 at 07H44). b) SUPER HOT raced fitted with a compression mask (declared 6 January 2022 at 07H53).
