HURRICANE SILVA was slow into stride DIVE CAPTAIN jumped inwards and brushed FLEECED shortly after the start. The saddle on IKEBANA slipped forward shortly after the start. Approaching the 1100m, DIVE CAPTAIN which pulled hard in the early stages, had to steady off the heels of IKEBANA, which rolled in slightly. Apprentice Mbhele appeared before the board and was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure he was sufficiently clear of the other runners before shifting ground. Jockey Orffer reported that HURRICANE SILVA was not striding out. Jockey Khumalo reported that FOURS A CROWD changed strides continually in running and was not striding out.
