THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE SNOW WAR (M V'Rensburg), WHAT A BLAST (W Kennedy) and CALLMEMRGREENLIGHT (S Veale) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) PRINCE TYRION (A Arries) was hanging in between the 500m and the 200m. b) PHILISPIEL (*R Venniker) was hanging in from the 400m, proving difficult to assist. c) Jockey A Mgudlwa reported that he felt something amiss with VUNDERBAR in the concluding stages, as a result did not persevere with his riding and dismounted this gelding shortly after the finish. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer D Campbell was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of VUNDERBAR on return to stables. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with ALFONSA SPAGONI in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) ALL THE TIME (S Brown), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Y Govender advised (NS).
