THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RAISEAHALLELUJAH (K Matsunyane) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) IMPERIAL MASTER (D De Gouveia) hung out from the 200m. b) Jockey D De Gouveia was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride the horse IMPERIAL MASTER out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stewards. Jockey De Gouveia signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000. When assessing the penalty, the Board was of the opinion that Jockey De Gouveia did not prejudice his chances of obtaining third place. c) FLYING BULL (*K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (RS). Apprentice Brewer has ridden his 20th winner and with effect from tomorrow, will only claim a 2,5kg allowance. d) SAVANNAH STORM (G Lerena), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
