THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CALULO (W Kennedy) was hanging out on the latter part of the bend and raced wide into the straight. b) Approaching the 100m, LADY CATHERINE (*R Venniker) was carried in by AUNTY LIZZY (*K Brewer) which shifted in sharply away from the crop and was immediately straightened. A race review was called into this incident by a Stipendiary Steward. After reviewing the patrol films of the race in the company of Trainer M Roberts, both parties were of the opinion that the incident had no bearing on the result of the race and therefore no further action was taken. c) Jockey D Dillon reported that SOCIAL BUTTERFLY did not act on the polytrack surface. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that VIVID JET took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) AUNTY LIZZY (*K Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Naidoo advised (BB). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) AUNTY LIZZY raced equipped with blinkers (advised 14.02.22/8h30). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
