THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KINGSMEADS KRYSTL (S Veale) was difficult to load and restless in the stalls. Lost 1 length. Trainer A Wright will be advised to re-school this filly. b) AIRBUZZ (C Zackey) fly-jumped leaving the stalls and lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LAUREL LANE (K Sakayi) over-raced in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, this filly was switched in to obtain a clear run at the 200m and in the concluding stages. b) At the 150m, TRATTORIA (W Kennedy) was momentarily inconvenienced on the outside of SNOW TUNE (*R Venniker) which shifted out away from the crop. c) TWICEASFAST (*D B Geerthsen), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S W Humby advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) LAUREL LANE raced equipped with blinkers (advised 18.02.22/9h44). b) CONKER THE WORLD raced without cheek pieces (advised 19.02.22/10h25) and this filly was ridden by Apprentice C Dicken (claiming 1.5kg). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) BECKONING BEAUTY : Cut into right front. b) MISS GIBSON : Cut into left front. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
