THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIME TO ROLL (M Yeni) was stubborn to load. Trainer Gareth van Zyl will be advised to re-school this filly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ALL AGLOW (S Veale) raced wide around turn and into the straight. Thereafter, this filly was hanging in from the 300m. b) BELLA SICCOME (W Kennedy) shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. c) Jockey K de Melo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read in conjunction with Guideline M, in that he misused his crop by striking the horse JACKSON WELLS more than 12 times in the entire race. In assessing penalty, the Board considered the number of times (13) Jockey K de Melo struck the horse JACKSON WELLS, the distance over which and manner in which he used his crop and his record (0) in relation to this Rule. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R750 was imposed. d) TIME TO ROLL (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Gareth van Zyl advised (HM).
