THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 250m, ARROW'S MARK (M Yeni), MONARCHY (S Moodley) and BAYVIEW EXPRESS (A Arries) were momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the outside of VICTORY TWIST (*R Venniker) which was hanging out from the 350m. The Stipendiary Board after reviewing the incident, was satisfied that Apprentice R Venniker had made several attempts to straighten VICTORY TWIST and therefore deemed this to be a racing incident. b) Jockey A Arries reported that BAYVIEW EXPRESS changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) VICTORY TWIST (*R Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A J Rivalland advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) ARROW'S MARK raced without blinkers (advised 02.03.22/7h03). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
