THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUPREME QUEST (*R A Venniker) was unruly in the stalls and dislodged Apprentice Venniker. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SUPREME QUEST, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 6 March 2022 to 12 March 2022. SUPREME QUEST may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer C Spies advised (GT). b) FOLLOW ME (D De Gouveia) over-raced in the early stages. c) Jockey K de Melo (CLAFOUTIS) and Jockey K Matsunyane (DEFINITELY MAYBE) reported that their respective mounts made abnormal respiratory noises in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. d) RAIN IN HOLLAND (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
