WINTER WONDERER, MAGIC MOUNTAIN and ELITE STATUS all lost 1 length. JER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. At approximately the 500 metre mark WINTER WONDERER improved on to and was forced to check off the heels of LEVI losing position. WINTER WONDERER was squeezed out shortly after the start was effected. WINTER WONDERER over-raced in the early stages. LEVI over-raced in the early and middle stages. In view of the performances of WINTER WONDERER and JOHNNY JET, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. Vet: INDIGO TRACTOR - lame right fore. WINTER WONDERER - not striding out left fore. JOHNNY JET - fatigued. Scratched: LACONIA - refused to load into transport. This filly has been suspended indefinitely and thereafter until able to prove tractable to load onto transport and be presented at the racecourse to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Board. GENTLEMAN'S WAGER - no transport.
