THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) DUNSTEALMYTHUNDA (R Khathi) raced detached from the field throughout. Jockey R Khathi reported that the saddle slipped back in the running. This was confirmed by the Stipendiary Board. b) CORAL COPY (D Dillon) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. c) Jockey S Veale reported that TRITON did not stride out freely in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer C Hewitson was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. d) VICEROY (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (LB). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) CORAL COPY pulled its left front shoe in the saddling enclosure. The Course Farrier was unsuccessful in refitting this shoe. Therefore, both front shoes were removed and this gelding raced unshod in front. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) DUNSTEALMYTHUNDA : The ownership should read :- Mrs L De Haast & Mr Carl Hewitson and the colours are yellow, black spots. (SWE - 11.03.22) THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) TRITON : Nothing obvious detected. b) DUNSTEALMYTHUNDA : Over-reached left front. SCRATCHINGS : a) MADIBA'S CUPPA : Elevated temperature (Trainer - 13.03.22/7h34). Rule 53.5 applies.
