THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DUNYAA (AUS) (M Yeni) and VIVID JET (K de Melo) were restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, AREA FIFTY ONE (A Mgudlwa), AUNTY LIZZY (*K Brewer), LADY CATHERINE (*R Venniker) and VIVID JET (K de Melo) were carried out by NIKIYA (G Wright) which jumped out. Thereafter, as a result of this incident, CALULO (W Kennedy) was squeezed out. b) DUNYAA (AUS) (M Yeni) brushed the inside running rail at the 700m. c) An Inquiry will be opened in order to establish why CIVIL RIGHTS (S Moodley) had to ease in the concluding stages. d) In view of the performance of LADY CATHERINE (*R Venniker) (3.80 lengths, 11/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) CALULO (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
