D) In view of the performance of BOY NAMED SUE (G Cheyne) (distance 7.75 - betting 25/11) the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. E) Jockey S Khathi (CHAMPAGNESOCIALIST) appeared before the Board and was advised that despite his crop use being within the limit of 12 strikes, the frequency of its use without giving this gelding an opportunity to respond, had come under notice. He was advised of Rule 58.10.2 (Guideline G) and advised to give his mounts an opportunity to respond in future. F) In view of the Starter's report with regard to JACKSONVILLE (X Ndlovu), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the stalls. Suspension dates: 16 March 2021 to 22 March 2021 both days included. JACKSONVILLE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised. G) Trainer G D Smith's attention was drawn to the provisions of Rule 10.5.7 pertaining to POWER SURGE (W Kennedy) not having raced for 120 days or more at the time of entries.
