After the running of this Race, in consultation with the track manager and riders, the track condition was changed to good. WHIFFLER'S JOY, JUSTADOREHER and BLANCHETTA lost one length. DESERT GLOW lost two lengths. STORMY MISS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Rich was questioned with regard to the improved performance of STORMY MISS compared to this filly's debut performance. Trainer Rich explained that in his opinion, this filly is better suited to the longer distance of today's Race and further stated that she is a temperamental filly whom may have improved with experience. The future performances of STORMY MISS will be monitored by the Stipendiary Board. Approaching the 150m WHIFFLER'S JOY ducked in carrying JAYDEN'S SHREYA inwards. This in turn resulted in JUSTADOREHER being momentarily steadied. Jockey de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with ODE in the closing stages. In view of the performances of ASTUTE VISION, BLANCHETTA and DESERT GLOW, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. STORMY MISS raced with alumites in front, unshod behind. Vet: ODE - cut into left hind. ASTUTE VISION - fatigued. BLANCHETTA and DESERT GLOW - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: CUT LOOSE - injured in float.
