THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Due to the poor performance of OBSCURE (T Gould) (9.30 lengths behind and betting 18/10), the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) TULIP WAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (AJ) JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) AT THE OFFICE (W Shumba) raced with blinkers off. b) OBSCURE (T Gould) raced with steel shoes on. c) Apprentice M Josi, the rider of KARVANI only claimed 1kg of his 4kg apprentice allowance which was declared (53kg) d) KARVANI (M Josi) raced with compression mask on.
