THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CHANTY LANE (*C Dicken) over-raced in the early stages. Thereafter, CHANTY LANE (*C Dicken) was hanging in, in the straight. b) LOVE BOMB (A Marcus) was hanging in from the 250m and shifted in from the 150m. c) Jockey G Wright signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read in conjunction with Guideline M, in that he misused his crop by striking the horse PETRA more than 12 times in the entire race. In deciding what action to take against Jockey G Wright, the Board considered the number of times (14) Jockey Wright struck the horse PETRA, the distance over which and manner in which, Jockey G Wright used his crop and his record (1) in relation to this Rule.
