THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MUSICAL KISS (+T Matsoele) was slow into stride. b) Shortly after the start, FULLIAUTOMATIX (+P Mlangeni) and TARA ITI (+D Botha) came together and bumped. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BLACKBURN JET (+T Ncume), which was switched out from the 400m, to obtain a run on the outside running rail, commenced to give ground to the field from the 250m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) DOUBLE MAGIC (+S Mosia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
