THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GRANDDADDY PURPLE (*J Jacobs), SLURRICANE (B Fayd'Herbe) and FLYING WONDER (B Jacobson) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) FLYING WONDER (B Jacobson) raced detached throughout. b) SLURRICANE (B Fayd'Herbe) was hanging out throughout and was difficult to assist around the turn. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) ICE KINGDOM (G Wright) raced green and shifted out from the 250m. d) Jockey R Khathi (HAAL UIT EN WYS) accidentally dropped his crop at the 200m. e) Jockey A Marcus reported that he felt something amiss with NDAKA in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) SILVER DUCAT (*D Geerthsen), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M Miller advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) KING'S SPEAR raced with steel shoes (advised 18.04.22/7h34). b) HAAL UIT EN WYS raced with a tongue tie (advised 18.04.22/7h33).
