THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In the concluding stages, PINEAPPLE EXPRESS (A Marcus) had to steady when awkwardly placed on the inside of BEECHURST (A Arries) which rolled in. b) In view of the performance of COROMANDEL (*G Pieterse) (16.55 lengths, 8/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) ETIQUETTE (*S Hlengwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G B Puller advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) COROMANDEL was ridden by Apprentice G Pieterse (claiming 2.5kg) (advised 17.04.22/8h04). b) KAPEN PRIDE raced with therapeutic shoes in front, alumites behind (advised 18.04.22/7h38). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) COROMANDEL : Nothing obvious detected. b) KAPEN PRIDE : Lame right front.
