THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1000m, GOLDEN GROVE (*R Venniker) jumped a patch which resulted in this filly becoming momentarily unbalanced. Thereafter, Apprentice R Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with GOLDEN GROVE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) At the 1000m, DESERT ROSE (A Marcus) took an awkward stride. Thereafter, Jockey A Marcus reported that he did not persevere with his mount.
