THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) IDEAL ACT (K de Melo) over-raced in the early stages. b) PAPA C (*K Strydom) over-raced in the early stages, proving difficult to assist. c) BANZAI PIPELINE (*S Hlengwa) brushed the inside running rail at the 600m. d) SPY MASTER (W Kennedy) was hanging out from the 250m. e) At approximately the 100m, BAT OUT OF HELL (M Yeni) had to steady momentarily to avoid running onto the heels of IDEAL ACT (K de Melo) which rolled in. f) IDEAL ACT (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
