EN-ROUTE TO THE START, GIMME ROYALTY LIFTED ITS RIGHT FRONT SHOE WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THIS INCIDENT CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ORGETORIX (C Zackey) was slow losing two lengths. b) MINI COOP (+C Mabaya) was stubborn loading. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to MINI COOP, this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 1 May 2022 to 7 May 2022. MINI COOP may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer C Dawson advised (JB). b) FORGOTTEN TIME (K de Melo) stumbled shortly after the start. c) VICTORY OF DUBAI (W Kennedy) hung out from the 500m. d) Workrider S Mosia was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride the horse FLOREANA ISLAND out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stewards thereby prejudicing his chances of obtaining 2nd position. Workrider Mosia signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in five Workrider races. Dates of Suspension: 10 May, 19 May, 26 May, 7 June and 14 June 2022. e) ARGO ALLEY (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (GF). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) CARNELO was ridden by Jockey C Habib.
