THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) AIR OF MYSTERY (C Zackey) was hanging in from the 600m. b) MORGAN LA FAY (W Kennedy) took a number of awkward strides between the 200m and the 100m. Thereafter, Jockey W Kennedy reported this filly choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In the concluding stages, PRINCESS OZMA (D Dillon) which was hanging in from the 250m, had to ease when awkwardly placed on the outside of BAUBLES AND BEADS (S Veale) which rolled out marginally. d) AMEENA (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
