THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS KESH (R Munger) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) SNOW PALACE (S Khumalo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) WISTERIA AVENUE (K de Melo) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, ASTRAL PLANE (*J Solomons) was buffeted between SNOW PALACE (S Khumalo), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and PRINCESS KESH (R Munger), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) Jockey J Penny reported KAYLA'S DREAM raced with its tongue over the bit. c) Jockey K de Melo reported that WISTERIA AVENUE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of PRINCESS KESH (R Munger), (distance 6,45 lengths, betting 2/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) SNOW PALACE (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
