THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DRAKAINA (*M Katjedi) lost three lengths. Trainer L Crawford will be advised to re-school this filly. b) CAPTAIN MARVEL (S Khumalo) lost one length. c) LITTLE MISS KJ (K Sakayi) was restless in the stalls. d) SACRED LILY (M V'Rensburg) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CINDERELLA CASTLE (*K Brewer) raced wide throughout. b) Jockey D Dillon signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read in conjunction M, in that he mis-used his crop by striking the horse HOLD MY HAND more than 12 times in the entire race. In assessing penalty, the Board considered the number of times (16) Jockey D Dillon struck the horse HOLD MY HAND, the distance over which and manner in which he used his crop and his record (0) in relation to this Rule. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R1000 was imposed. c) DOUBLE DREAM (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer V H Marshall advised (NS).
