THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly before the finish line, AFRICAN ADVENTURE (J Mariba) and NEBRAAS (R Fourie), which shifted in away from the crop, came together and brushed. b) In view of the performance of MARCHINGONTOGETHER (M Yeni), (distance 12,60 lengths, betting 10/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Stable Employee P de Palma, acting on behalf of Trainer S J Gray, was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. c) NEBRAAS (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
