THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) BLONDE MAGIC (R Munger) and LIKEABLE (*K Strydom) were stubborn loading, causing a delay.
b) RED SPHERE (M Yeni) was reluctant to load.
b) DOUBLE DESTINY (T Gould), FLOWERS OF NIKE (*KA Brewer) and POLLY FLINDERS (C Habib) were slow into stride.
c) MORNING BREEZE (F Herholdt) jumped awkwardly, losing one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) In view of the report from the Starter regarding BLONDE MAGIC (R Munger), Trainer T Laing will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
b) In view of the report from the starter regarding LIKEABLE (*K Strydom), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 11/06/2022 to 17/06/2022 inclusive). LIKEABLE may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
c) DOUBLE DESTINY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
