THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) During the loading process, LOTS OF MAGIC (R Khathi) reared over and fell in the stalls, dislodging Jockey R Khathi. Thereafter, MINSTREL GALLERY (K de Melo) was struck on a number of occasions by LOTS OF MAGIC (R Khathi) which was lashing out whilst caught up in the starting stalls. Both horses were removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and were subsequently withdrawn.
b) SOVIET GIRL (*R Venniker) lost one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) SUCH A CRACKER (J Gates) raced green around the turn.
b) VIRGINIA SWEET (*K Strydom) shifted out away from the crop between the 150m and the 50m.
c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LOTS OF MAGIC (R Khathi), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 21.06.22 to the 27.06.22. LOTS OF MAGIC may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer R Hill was advised. (SN)
d) READY TO FLY (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Brown acting on behalf of Trainer M de Kock advised (NS).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a) MINSTREL GALLERY raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 14.06.22/14h08).
b) A COLOURFUL PAST : The ownership should read:- Messrs C F Strydom, G G Palmer, P J Victor & Mesdames D Palmer & B A Victor and the colours are royal blue, yellow spots, royal blue sleeves, royal blue cap, yellow spots. (SWE -15.06.22)

a) SUCH A CRACKER : Abrasion right front.
SCRATCHINGS :
a) LET IT SNOW : Bruised right front hoof (Vet certificate / Trainer - 17.06.22/11h23). Rule 53.5 applies. Suitable for re-instatement.
b) LOTS OF MAGIC : Injured in the starting stalls. Withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at 11h51 and the betting was 36/1. Rule 53.5 applies.
c) MINSTREL GALLERY : Injured in the starting stalls. Withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at 11h52 and the betting was 16/1. Rule 53.5 applies.
