THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TELL MY FORTUNE (*K Strydom) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 150m, TELL MY FORTUNE (*K Strydom) was momentarily inconvenienced on the outside of AMERICAN STYLE (K de Melo) which shifted out away from the crop between the 200m and the 100m and thereafter was hanging out. Jockey K de Melo appeared before this Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take timeous corrective measures to ensure that his mounts keep a straight course in races in future. b) Jockey W Kennedy reported that GRAPHENE AEROGEL made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) TWICE A MIRACLE (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (NS).
