THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DREAM STAR (L Mxothwa) was nervous in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 300m WORD PROCESSOR (M Mjoka) and VICKEYNEKI (JP van der Merwe) were carried out by GAILIEA (W Agrella), which shifted out away from the crop and had to be straightened. Jockey W Agrella appeared before the Board and was advised to act sooner when required to straighten his mounts in similar circumstances. b) VICKEYNEKI (JP van der Merwe) raced green. c) Jockeys W Kennedy and W Agrella reported that ALASTRIONA and GAILIEA respectively did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. d) SAILAWAY WITH ME, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
