THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALULO (*R Venniker) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 100m, BRUNILDA (A Mgudlwa) was inconvenienced on the outside of WINTER SMOKE (R Munger) which was carried out marginally by NIKIYA (W Kennedy) which was hanging out from the 250m. b) Jockey R Munger reported that he felt something amiss with WINTER SMOKE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) AUNTY LIZZY (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Naidoo advised (DZ). d) DUBAWI PRINCESS (K de Melo), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S Tarry advised (HM).
