THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CERULEAN DANCER (*P Mxoli) and ANGELOFTHEMORNING (J R Syster) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CORAL DAWN (*K A Brewer) raced fiercely in the early stages. This resulted in the saddle on CORAL DAWN slipping forward badly and to such an extent that Apprentice K A Brewer was unable to assist this filly throughout the duration of the race. b) CAP ESTEL (W Kennedy) commenced to give ground from the 200m. Thereafter, Jockey W Kennedy reported that CAP ESTEL took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) LET THERE BE LIGHT (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, was advised (RS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) ANGELOFTHEMORNING raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 23 June 2022 at 13H12). b) CORAL DAWN raced equipped with a compression mask (declared 30 June 2022 at 07H50).
