THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LITTLE SUNNY (C Bantam) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The tongue tie on HOLY ORDERS (C Zackey) had to be re-fitted at the start. b) HOLY ORDERS (C Zackey) and RULE OF THUMB (R Fourie) bumped shortly after the start. c) LITTLE SUNNY (C Bantam) was steadied away from the heels of MASTERFUL GUY (A Domeyer) shortly after the start. d) LAST STORM (C Orffer) was hanging out in the straight. e) Jockey C Zackey reported that HOLY ORDERS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) RULE OF THUMB, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
