THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LA FILLE (+S Liyaba) was stubborn loading. b) BOLD LEAH (+M Sambu) was nervous in the stalls, rushed the front gate and jumped slow, losing one length. c) BACK TO FORMENTERA (+Z Matwa) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. d) WORD PROCESSOR (+Si Ngqabuko) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Work Rider J van Niekerk and Trainer JH Strydom were interviewed regarding the running and riding of GLITTERFOX. The Stewards have adjourned to consider the evidence presented and to give this matter further consideration. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine GLITTERFOX (+J van Niekerk) b) RIO SUPREMO (+S Ngqabuko) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr J Batt) c) EMILY'S SPIRIT (+A Gwadiso) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr J Batt) d) WORD PROCESSOR (+Si Ngqabuko) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 120 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1.
