THE STARTER REPORTED: a) INTO THE FUTURE (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) THE MAKWAKKERS (J Penny), MOONSTRIKE (K de Melo) and TRUST THE FIRE (D De Gouveia) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TRUST THE FIRE (D De Gouveia) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey D De Gouveia reported that TRUST THE FIRE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with PRINCESS SABRINA in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) LAETITIA'S ANGEL (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A B Fortune advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) BRITISH DIVA: Apprentice S Sosibo weighed out at 49,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
