THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COZY DOT COM (*S Sosibo) and CASHEW (*R Venniker) were stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, LADY TIPTREE (*K Strydom) was bumped out by MISS CHARLOTTE (*M Zuma). b) At the 1100m, MISS CHARLOTTE (*M Zuma) which over-raced in the early stages, was briefly tightened on the inside of COZY DOT COM (*S Sosibo) which rolled in and was immediately corrected. c) At the 500m, LADY TIPTREE (*K Strydom) ran onto and clipped the heels of PASCHALS SAMORE (*J Solomons). d) Leaving the 200m, GLOBAL SECRET (*D Geerthsen) was carried out marginally by BINGIN BEACH (*K Brewer) which shifted out away from the crop and was straightened. e) Apprentice R Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with CASHEW and as a result she did not persevere with her ride in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) LADY TIPTREE (*K Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer J Buckler acting on behalf of Trainer G S Kotzen advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) COZY DOT COM raced with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 15.07.22/9h33).
