THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SACRED VALLEY (*R A Venniker) was difficult to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, was advised (PHvdW). b) MARIPOSA (*P Mxoli) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SECONDA ERRORE (*J Solomons) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) At approximately the 150m, a tiring SAINT ANASTASIA (J P van der Merwe), which had raced prominently throughout, was steadied momentarily in anticipation of being awkwardly placed between STUNNING KITTEN (K Matsunyane), which hung out from the 400m, and ASHANTI SWORD (*K A Brewer), which rolled in marginally. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SACRED VALLEY, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 17 August 2022 to 23 August 2022. SACRED VALLEY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, was advised. d) MIRREN (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee B Botes was advised (RS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
