MARAVILLOSO flyjumped as the start was effected and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Marcus reported that he felt something amiss with BITTER LEMON. Jockey Noach reported that HOWL was not striding out freely in running. HIDDEN STRINGS, which was hanging out from the 400m and proved difficult to assist, changed stride at the 250m, shifted out and had to be straightened. Thereafter at the 150m, FERRARI RED had to steady when close to the heels of HIDDEN STRINGS, which continued to hang out in spite of the efforts of her rider. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BITTER LEMON, this filly was suspended from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority for a period of sixty days. Trainer Sands will be advised. HIDDEN STRINGS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BITTER LEMON - Bilateral epistaxsis; 60 days suspension. HELLO WINTER HELLO - poor recovery post race. HOWL - poor recovery post race. MARAVILLOSO - abnormal respiratory noise.
