THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HUNTING TRIP (K de Melo), SUPREME DREAM (L Mxothwa) and YOUREYESONLY (C Habib) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride. b) GODDEX APHAEA (O Noach) was reluctant to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RAFEEF'S CHOICE (C Orffer) was hanging out from the 300m. b) Jockey G Behr reported that MARI MARIE did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the performance of HEAR MY VOICE (D Ashby), which tired quickly in the latter stages, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding GODDEX APHAEA (O Noach), Trainer VH Marshall will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) GOLD POKER GAME, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
