THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SOUND CHECK (R Fourie) was stubborn loading, causing a delay. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of SOUND CHECK (R Fourie), the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the report from the starter regarding SOUND CHECK (R Fourie), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 03/09/2022 to 09/09/2022 inclusive). SOUND CHECK may not be presented for re-passing during this period. c) Jockey L Mxothwa was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight on PHEDRA, resulting in a change of rider.
