THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Zackey felt something amiss with GREEN EXTREME and eased this filly out of the race from the 600m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) At approximately the 250m, GENOVEFA (C Maujean) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of RED AMBER (R Danielson), which was switched in to continue its run, and on the heels of BLINDFIRE (A Fortune). c) Jockey D Schwarz, the rider of LINE IN THE SKY, accidentally dropped his crop at the 300m. d) In the concluding stages, SHAMOON (K Matsunyane) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between BLUE QUARTZ (M Yeni) and BLINDFIRE (A Fortune), which rolled in. e) Jockey C Maujean reported that GENOVEFA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) Jockey A Fortune reported that he felt something amiss with BLINDFIRE in running.
