THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALL MY BLUFF (M van Rensburg) was stubborn loading and jumped awkwardly. b) TOWER OF LONDON (C Little) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CALL MY BLUFF jumped awkwardly, which resulted in Jockey M van Rensburg becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. b) BLOWN AWAY (R Fourie) was hanging out from the 400m and was corrected at the 100m. c) TOWER OF LONDON (C Little) over raced in the early and middle stages; thereafter was hanging out and shifted out away from the crop from the 300m. d) Jockey S Naidoo (PRICELESS TREASURE) briefly got his crop entangled in his reins at approximately the 100m. e) In view of the performance of MIND FREEZE (C Zackey) (Betting 10/1; Distance 20.10 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) BLOWN AWAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
