THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ONE TIGER (C Murray) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) SI VELOCE (C Maujean) was slow losing two lengths. c) WAITFORGREENLIGHT (J Gates), PHALA MILLIONS (*J Botes) and JET CAT (J R Syster) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of WAITFORGREENLIGHT (J Gates), (distance 10,45 lengths, betting 66/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the performance of CIRCUS LIGHTS (P Mxoli), (distance 11,20 lengths, betting 33/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey C Murray reported that he felt something amiss with ONE TIGER in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) SAMOA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee J Dhlamine, acting on behalf of Trainer B H Stidolph, was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ONE TIGER was ridden by Jockey C Murray (declared 21 May 2025 at 14H15). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) INAFIX raced with a cornell collar (declared 16 January 2024). b) SI VELOCE raced without a tongue tie (declared 16 May 2025 at 09H08). c) GIMME THE FLAME raced equipped with alumites in front and steel shoes behind (declared 15 May 2025 at 13H12). d) BREGARDT raced without blinkers and a tongue tie (declared 21 May 2025 at 08H49).
