THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOOD TO GREAT (L Nhlapo) was stubborn loading. b) TOGETHER AGAIN (*G Samo-Burthia) and BRIDGE OF SPIES (*G Dookhit) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) INAFIX (C Habib) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. d) THE NAVY LARK (*T Mayhew) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Apprentice G Dookhit (BRIDGE OF SPIES) did not persevere with his riding from the 500m. Thereafter, Apprentice G Dookhit reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Apprentice G Dookhit (BRIDGE OF SPIES) was charged with a contravention of Rule 66.4 in that he weighed back in, in excess of 1kg over the weight at which he was declared out. Apprentice G Dookhit signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000. c) INAFIX (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Binda advised (MS).
