THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) An inquiry will be opened to establish why RODEO DRIVE (C Zackey) had to ease at approximately the 200m. b) CHIEFTAIN (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
