a) ALADO'S HABIT (C Little) was stubborn loading. b) BRETTY (M van Rensburg) jumped slow, losing one length. c) MISS SHAIVI (C Zackey) and BLUE PALACE (L Mxothwa) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to a technical issue in the Stipendiary Stewards boardroom. This was reported to the Racing Operator. b) BLUE PALACE (L Mxothwa) was steadied off the heels of DUELLONA (*J Botes), which shifted outwards shortly after the start. c) THREAD OF LIFE (D Schwarz) over raced in the early stages. d) BRETTY (M van Rensburg) over raced in the middle stages. e) MISS SHAIVI (C Zackey) was hanging in from the 300m. f) COURAGEOUS (A Fortune) raced wide without cover on the bend and into the straight. g) Apprentice N Nastili reported that PERFECT TRUST did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. h) BLUE PALACE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
