THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) As the start was effected FORWARD MOTION (*D Pillay) was brushed in by IZIBULO (S Veale) which jumped inwards leaving the starting stalls. b) In view of the performance of GETOFFOFMYCLOUD (C Zackey) which tired rapidly from the 300m and was not persevered with in the concluding stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. The Stipendiary Board has exercised the provisions of Rule 49.7, and this filly is suspended pending a Veterinary Certificate prior to its next racing engagement. c) In view of the performance of IZIBULO (S Veale) which over-raced in the early and middle stages and was not persevered with in the concluding stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. The Stipendiary Board has exercised the provisions of Rule 49.7, and this filly is suspended pending a Veterinary Certificate prior to its next racing engagement. d) SHESHA NTOMBI (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Jockey C Zackey (GETOFFOFMYCLOUD) weighed out at 56.2kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
